Great place to stay

Great location, value, clean and great host. Sam helped sort our onward travel and tips for busses to avoid expensive taxis. Sam even offered to take us to old town as was heading that way

A comfortable stay at a no-fuss hotel

Had a comfortable stay at Kata Bai D - especially appreciated housekeeper Meow. I was on the third floor so enjoyed a nice view of the surroundings. Everything was comfortable and the location is good with plenty restaurants, massage places and a 7/11 nearby. The beach is about 3-4 minutes walk away.

Superb

Bai D is a no frills inn. It was clean. The beds are firm, but every mattress in Thailand is firm!!! The hosts were so so kind and generous. They offer toast and jam in the mornings. They allowed us to have a late checkout and even assisted with transport back to the airport. The walk to the beach is really about 5-7 minutes. So easy to get to/from.
